On September 22, 2022, the EGUSD FIRST Foundation held its first fundraiser event. Thank you to all of our community members and sponsors for helping us put on such a successful event. This fundraiser was the initial opportunity to bring awareness to the foundation’s purpose. the Foundation is here to cultivate community partnerships and equitable opportunities for Elk Grove Unified School District students to flourish.

During the event we heard from key board members and the Elk Grove Unified School District Superintendent. Enjoyed delicious refreshments provided by the Cosumnes Oaks High school Culinary Café students. We also heard from the students and teachers on some of the initial impacts of the foundation. Overall, this was a wonderful event and please stay tuned for information on the next event.
