The mission of EGUSD FIRST Foundation is to cultivate community partnerships and equitable opportunities for EGUSD students to flourish

The EGUSD First Foundation is a newly created nonprofit that is partnering with the Elk Grove Unified School District to focus on improving resources for students and teachers. The foundation will raise funds to fill gaps in resources for students and teachers by supporting various initiatives and projects such as Newcomer Welcome Centers, STEAM activities, Visual & Performing Arts and mini-grants for classroom projects. The foundation will also collaborate with local businesses and organizations to provide additional services and resources to the community and intentionally support our most vulnerable communities to ensure they have what they need to achieve success.
